Led by the fantastic Elleson McCumber, they bring creativity, smiles, and heart to every event. From colorful bracelets to popular face painting booths, they make our community brighter!”

“The S&S Society is an amazing collaboration of students, led by Elleson, dedicated to organizing and creating opportunities for seniors to enjoy music performed by talented and gifted students. The extra efforts to socialize with seniors are a plus, as the intergenerational interaction is rejuvenating for everyone. It has been a pleasure to have them every time at The Watermark, and we are so grateful for all the students who take time out of their day to share their talents and gifts!”

“Performing with S&S has been an incredible experience for me! I am really grateful for this opportunity because I love piano and being able to perform it at nursing homes as well as seeing other performances is something I will always love about S&S. Another reason I love performing with S&S is because they make each and every event memorable. They have made the residents feel so special by including them in performances such as dancing with them. They also create themes for performances which is also really cool. Overall, S&S is one of my favorite ways to do community service and I will be performing with them again!”

“Growing up I never had the opportunity to explore engineering and have role models in the field. Through programs like this, I am able to share my love for robotics and the knowledge that i have gained, hopefully inspiring them to pursue the world of engineering. From building the robots that the kids can play with, to showing them how to drive and control, giving back to the community has truly opened my eyes to how important engineering (and robotics) is. When the kids are asking me questions about the robots with a smile on their face, it makes me proud to be an engineer that hopefully made a difference.”
